Custom-built by the agency, groundbreaking sound recognition technology enabled secret online Halo content to be unlocked on your PC using a mobile phone ringtone. It was a world first, and the ringtone was downloaded and activated by hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
The pre-launch Halo campaign (of which the Sonic Vault formed a part) was exceptionally successful in raising awareness of the game. ‘Halo 3’ went on to log the highest day-one sales of any video game in history, taking over $170m in the US alone.
